A/C Lacrosse Association was given a First Stick Grant in 2021 by USA Lacrosse. They provided us with enough gear to outfit 20 players.

Most of our players will starting asking for their own gear as Christmas and Birthday presents as they go through their first year playing. That way they are completely ready for their second season.

Currently, lacrosse is not a sanctioned sport in Kentucky and not considered a varsity sport. Like any club, we do not get any direct funding from the school or district. They have been kind enough to give us a field that we can use for lacrosse all year.
Like other clubs, players must pay club dues to cover the teams expenses. These expenses include officials for games, field equipment, paint for the field, team events and other activities.
Our teams are very frugal and we work hard to keep costs as low as possible for our families. We are blessed with a few individuals that will sponsor players without the financial resources to pay their club dues. WE HAVE NEVER TURNED A PLAYER AWAY BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT PAY THEIR DUES. We find a way for anyone that wants to play.
It has always been my belief that the teams are all about the players. As head coach I want the focus to be on players. You will occasionally see me in a picture or two but I want the focus on them. Coach Jeff
